Product description

A high airflow air filter for the removal of odors and chemicals that uses a high quality Australian Virgin activated carbon bed. This activated carbon bed has an RC412 pore size which allows for a high adsorption rate and longer life. The robust construction with aluminium flanges and galvanized steel mesh on both sides with a rust-free gunmetal finish resists corrosion and high humidity. The activated carbon filter can be used with an inline fan for intake and exhaust configurations, and its flanges can be reversed to further extend its service life. Included are two machine-washable pre-filter cloths to prevent carbon buildup and two hanging straps for easy installation.

High-quality activated carbon

Each carbon filter is made from high quality Australian virgin carbon with an IAV value of 1200+a. It consists of a 38 mm thick carbon bed, which has a higher microporosity and contributes to a larger surface area. In combination with the large mesh size, this not only enables a higher adsorption rate without restricting the free flow of air, but also extends its service life by up to 33%. It is mainly used in hydroponic systems, tents, grow rooms, kitchens, smoking areas and other ventilation projects.
