Next-Gen Plant Dehumidifier

This next-generation plant dehumidifier ensures precise drying in both hot and cold climates and is compatible with smart controllers—ideal for grow tents up to 1.2 × 1.2 m. Two hose connections allow for targeted exhaust airflow to direct dry air directly into the tent; an optional intake connection supports efficient closed-loop operation. The drain-ready design features an integrated water tank and an optional gravity drain hose for clean, low-maintenance operation.

Instructions for using the HYDRONE 5

The HYDRONE 5 is a powerful plant dehumidifier with high drying capacity. As with all dehumidifiers, this unit generates additional heat during the dehumidification process. When used as a freestanding unit in a room, this can lead to a slight increase in temperature. Except during the height of summer, this is generally not a cause for concern.

Important for closed-loop applications: If the HYDRONE 5 is used in a closed-loop system (connected to a Controller 69 Pro or Controller AI+), it is important that the temperature continues to be actively regulated via a ventilation system such as the CLOUDLINE, so that cooler air is drawn into the tent if temperatures become too high. For optimal results, the HYDRONE 5 should be controlled in VPD mode. This allows the reduction in humidity and the slight increase in temperature to work together effectively, supporting an optimal, higher VPD value during the flowering phase.

Advanced technology

The proprietary, PWM-controlled rotary motor offers 10 precise drying levels with instant on/off response, providing significantly greater accuracy than conventional compressor dehumidifiers. Designed for consistent, effective dehumidification in hot and extremely cold growing environments, with the ability to achieve humidity levels as low as 25% RH.
