    With a high concentration of soluble silica, Pro-Silicate™ was developed for strengthening plants grown in soilless media and hydroponic systems devoid of this element. While not considered an essential nutrient, plants accumulate silica in macro proportions for good reason. Plants use silica to strengthen cell walls, resulting in greater cell integrity and stronger stems.   Fortifying cell walls with silica helps plants tolerate stress and be more resistant to attack.

    Product detailed description

    For a strong, resilient crop use Pro-Silicate™ during vegetative and reproductive growth. Watch pH as Pro-Silicate is a strong base.

    Application rate:

    • 0.5ml-1.25ml per 1L

    Pro-Silicate™ is a strong base and should never be added to nutrient concentrates. We recommend that Pro-Silicate™ be added to the nutrient tank prior to the addition of nutrients.

    Soil/Soilless/Water Culture: Mix 2½−5 ml per 4 L of water (½−1 tsp/gal). Check pH and adjust to 5.5−6.5 depending on crop requirements. Agitate well, then add nutrients. If necessary Pro-Silicate™ can be added to the nutrient tank after the nutrients are in the solution. Pre-dilute in a small quantity of water and add slowly while agitating.
