Smart CO2 - 1pcsCode: 10854
Product detailed description
Why use Smart CO2
- earlier flowering
- higher yields
- increased stem strength
- thicker flowers
Plants use a process called photosynthesis, which converts water, sunlight, sugar and CO2 into essential nutrients
With more CO2 in the air, plants are more active and more efficient at absorbing it. Faster CO2 conversion results in faster and more intensive plant growth.
Plants absorb CO2 through small pores on the underside of the leaves, called vents. When the CO2 level is higher, the plants do not have to open these pores as often or as widely, which results in less water loss and a reduced likelihood of absorbing harmful substances.
How Smart CO2 works
It contains mycelia (fungi) and a sufficient amount of organic substrate for at least 4 months. Mycelia work in the opposite direction to the plant, breathing oxygen and exhaling carbon dioxide 24 hours a day through the airway on the bag. This creates a natural, self-sufficient and cost-effective, odorless, CO2-free system. The Smart CO2 bag does not produce heat and produces CO2 only when it is activated (perforated). Just hang it and the bag will do the job!
How to use a Smart CO2 bag
After purchase, it is necessary to make a few holes in the top of the bag and hang it in the growing area, just above the top of the plants. We recommend one CO2 bag per 1.2 x 1.2 m area (3m3). Because CO2 is heavier than oxygen it will fall down on the plants. Once hung at the desired height, you do not need to make any adjustments or fill the bag. Do not hang the bag near lights or other heat sources. After about 3 months, CO2 production drops and the bag needs to be replaced with a new one.
Good to know
The Smart CO2 bag is initially brown and will gradually turn white. This is perfectly normal, causing mycelial development. The bag will also inflate, again normal. The bag works right from the beginning, when you make holes in it.
Store in a dry and cool place up to 18 ° C.
