Milwaukee PRO pH regulator offers:
ACCURACY
The Milwaukee PRO pH controller offers accuracy of up to ± 0.2 pH with two-point manual calibration.
AUTOMATION
The controller provides a pH control range of 5.5 to 9.5 with alarms that are activated when the measured values are higher or lower than the set value.
COMPATIBLE DOSING PUMP
Milwaukee offers the MP810 dosing pump
EASY INSTALLATION
The pH controller is supplied with a complete mounting kit including the probe holder.
DESIGN FEATURES
USE AND CARE!
pH meters usually start to malfunction due to probe problems. The two most common parts of the pH probe are the glass detection flask and the reference hole.
DETECTION SENSOR
The glass sensor loses its sensitivity during use and eventually fails. This applies to all pH probes.
REFERENCE HOLE
A small hole that allows the meter to compare the sample with reference values. The reading is generated based on the electrical difference between the sample and the reference. If the connection hole becomes blocked, the pH probe will no longer work.
You can extend the life of your pH electrode in the following ways:
STORAGE
The pH probe must be kept hydrated! Prolonged dry storage will damage the sensitivity of the probe. Leaving the probe dry can also clog the reference hole.
Both of these problems will help be solved by storing in a pH probe storage solution or pH calibration buffer. Do not store in tap water or distilled water. This will damage the sensitivity of the probe.
The best way to store the probe is to fill the probe cap with storage solution or calibration buffer and tighten the cap to prevent solution leakage. It is also recommended to store the electrode in a vertical position to further reduce the potential for leakage.
CLEANING
Residues from the nutrient solution can affect the sensitivity of the probe and clog the reference hole. This is especially true if the sample contains a lot of organic material. We recommend soaking the electrode regularly in a cleaning solution.
CALIBRATION
Probes with a pH sensor become less sensitive over time, so make sure you calibrate regularly to keep your PRO pH controller accurate. Also calibrate after cleaning or long-term storage.
