Grodan 1x1x1cm cubes are an inert medium suitable for hydroponic growing. Ideal water/air ratio for roots.

Grodan planting medium is a practical and recyclable growing medium.
It is made from basalt wool and calcium by melting in a furnace at 1500 °C.
This produces a 'stone' lava which is further processed into thin fibres and then pressed into the desired shape.
This process makes Grodan a completely sterile and inert medium.
The mineral felt (rockwool) has the ability to hold a large amount of water and also maintains a balanced air ratio, which ensures the unique development of the root system of the plant being grown.

Grodan has many advantages that you will appreciate for indoor and outdoor growing.

USE:
After unpacking, shake the substrate and spread it into the growing containers.
Do not squeeze it in any way!
Just moisten it when planting and when watering (ideally with a 25°C watering can).
The water must be adjusted to a pH of 4.8-6 (depending on the needs of the plants to be grown).
If the substrate settles, top up the pot and repeat watering at a reasonable rate.

Grodan products do not have a negative impact on the environment and are also very water-efficient, making them suitable for outdoor or organic growing.
