Product detailed description

CarboAir Pro 60 Filter

The CarboAir Pro 60 Filter is the professional range of filters. This range of filters are designed to be used in environments prone to higher concentrations of volatile organic compounds. The 60mm bed provides a longer contact time between the virgin activated carbon and the grow room’s air. The filter’s mesh exterior provides evenly distributed carbon air exposure, while the tunnel-shaped design maximises airflow and reduces pressure on the fan.

The CarboAir Pro 60 has been designed to work perfectly with high power fans including the Systemair Revolution range.

Why buy?

  • Handmade in Europe,
  • Machine washable pre-filter included.

Top Tip: Perfectly matched with the Revolution Silenced V2 fan, creating a quiet, odour free ventilation system.

Filter housing
The industrial filter housing is made of galvanized steel. The use of the highest quality materials has made it possible to produce the finest mesh.
The filter mesh is 55.5% open for the best airflow through the filter. Carbo Air 60 filters have better flow rates, allowing the use of a thicker carbon bed compared to competitors. The chosen filter mesh, unlike competitors, allows the omission of the internal nylon mesh which slows airflow.

Activated virgin carbon granulate
The carbon used was custom made for the CarboAir to extract odors from the air and work in harmony with the fine zinc mesh body. The virgin carbon is activated at temperatures above 1000°C in humid environments. This process opens the pores of the carbon to give it incredibly high absorption properties of organic particles and other impurities in the air. The carbon is produced in Europe to very high standards, unlike Chinese filters which often contain cheaper blends and risk contamination of seawater during transport.
EU production allows for better quality control. The carbon is manufactured to EN12915, which means it is clean enough to be used in food processing plants and factories. The size and depth of the filter has been specifically designed to provide the correct contact between the contaminated air and the carbon.
