CarboAir PRO 60 was developed for higher concentrations of VOCs in the exhaust air from medium and larger grow environments.
CarboAir PRO 60 has a deeper 60 mm carbon bed and a longer body. This extends the contact time between the air and the carbon, which removes higher concentrations of VOCs. The 60 mm carbon bed made of pure activated granular carbon will last even in harsher conditions. These filters were designed to work for a minimum of 18 months. With CarboAir™ PRO 60, you are still safe even with stronger ventilation ducts.

Filter housing
The industrial filter housing is made of galvanized steel. The use of the highest quality materials made it possible to produce the finest mesh.
The filter mesh is 55.5% open for the best airflow through the filter. Carbo Air 60 filters have better airflow rates, which makes it possible to use a thicker carbon bed compared to competitors. The chosen filter mesh, unlike the competition, allows the omission of the inner nylon mesh, which slows down airflow.

Activated virgin carbon granulate
The carbon used was custom-made for CarboAir to extract odour from the air and to work in harmony with the fine zinc mesh body. Virgin carbon is activated at temperatures above 1000°C in a humid environment. This process opens the pores of the carbon so that it gains incredibly high absorption properties for organic particles and other impurities in the air. The carbon is produced in Europe according to very high standards, unlike Chinese filters, which often contain cheaper blends and risk contamination with seawater during transport.
Production in the EU allows better quality control. The carbon is produced according to EN12915, which means it is pure enough to be used in food processing plants and production facilities. The size and depth of the filter were specially designed to provide the correct contact between the contaminated air and the carbon.
